Software Quality Assurance Officer

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand product requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Design, execute, and maintain automated test suites for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Identify, analyse, and report software defects and work closely with the development team to resolve issues.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and strategy discussions.
• Contribute to the enhancement of the QA process and automation frameworks.
• Monitor and analyze test results to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Document test cases, procedures, and results thoroughly.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in automated testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or similar.
• Strong programming/scripting skills in languages like Python, Java, JavaScript, or others.
• Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, etc.).
• Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
